The energy-efficient red or green LEDs, paired with a UV-stabilized, ultra-clear acrylic edge-lit panel, provide consistent, uniform illumination. For double-sided use, it includes factory-installed silver or white mylar background panels for enhanced visibility. Operating on 120/277V with optional multi-tap capabilities, it has a bi-color LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch for easy code testing. The 4.8V NiCad rechargeable battery offers a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency lighting and fully recharges within 24 hours. An internal transfer switch automatically connects the LED lamp heads during power loss. Easy to install with a backplate fitting standard junction boxes and an EZ-snap mounting canopy supporting top, end, or back mounting. The flame-retardant, high-impact thermoplastic housing is available in white or black. Self-adhesive chevron appliques and a template are provided for directional signage.
